Terms of Service
Last updated: October 20, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to your use of rankdout.com and to any services RankdOut provides. Please read them before you use the site or work with us. By using the site or accepting a proposal from us, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who we are
RankdOut is an SEO consultancy run by its founder. It is not yet a registered company. In these Terms, “RankdOut”, “we”, and “us” mean RankdOut and its founder. “You” means the person or business using the site or our services. Contact: hello@rankdout.com.
2. Using our website
You may use the site to learn about our services and contact us. You agree not to:
- use the site in a way that breaks any law or harms others;
- try to gain unauthorised access to the site, its servers, or connected systems;
- send spam, malware, or automated requests through our forms;
- copy or republish our content for commercial use without our written permission.
We may update, suspend, or remove any part of the site at any time.
3. Our services
We provide SEO consulting: audits, strategy, prioritised recommendations, content briefs, and progress tracking. We advise; we do not implement changes on your website ourselves. Your writer, developer, or another provider you choose carries out the work.
4. Proposals, scope, and fees
- A free proposal carries no obligation. An engagement starts only when you accept a written proposal from us.
- Each proposal sets out the scope, deliverables, fees, payment terms, and notice period for that engagement. If a proposal conflicts with these Terms, the proposal wins for that engagement.
- We do not require 6 or 12-month contracts. Either party can end an engagement by giving the notice stated in the proposal.
- Fees already paid for work delivered are not refundable, unless the proposal says otherwise.
- Work outside the agreed scope needs your written approval before we start.
5. No guaranteed results
Search engines and AI search tools decide rankings, and they change how they work without notice. Results also depend on your market, your competitors, and how fully our recommendations are implemented. For these reasons, we do not guarantee specific rankings, traffic, leads, or revenue. We will always be honest about what we expect and what we measure.
6. Your responsibilities
To get value from our work, you agree to:
- give us accurate information and the access we reasonably need, such as Google Search Console or Analytics;
- make sure you have the right to share any data, content, or account access you give us;
- review recommendations before implementing them, and keep current backups of your website;
- pay invoices on time, as set out in your proposal.
7. Intellectual property
The content of this website, including text, design, and graphics, belongs to RankdOut. Once you have paid for an engagement, you may use the reports, plans, and briefs we deliver for your own business. We keep ownership of our general methods, templates, and know-how, and we may reuse them in our work for others without revealing your confidential information.
8. Confidentiality
We keep your non-public business information confidential and use it only to deliver our services to you. This does not apply to information that is already public, or that we must disclose by law.
9. Third-party tools and links
Our work may involve third-party platforms such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, or your website builder. Their own terms apply, and we are not responsible for their availability or changes. Links to other websites are for convenience only.
10. Disclaimers
The site and its content are provided for general information “as is”. Articles and resources on the site are not tailored advice for your business. Advice we give you under a proposal is based on the information available at the time.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or loss of rankings. Our total liability for any engagement is limited to the fees you paid us for that engagement in the three months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the new version here and update the date at the top. Changes do not affect engagements already accepted, unless we both agree in writing.
14. Governing law and disputes
If a problem comes up, please contact us first; most issues can be solved with a conversation. These Terms are governed by the laws of Georgia (the country), and disputes will be handled by the courts of Georgia. If you are a consumer, you also keep any rights the mandatory laws of your own country give you.
